Our Lady of Assumption School

Our Lady of Assumption School, placed on the shores of Coquitlam River, was warm, welcoming and wonderful! The students had read every one of my books and created three walls of fantastic Super Natural Creatures as a welcome committee!! I had a splendid time sharing my new book, ‘Whale Child.’

My presentations have been so much fun! I have visited with over 1,500 students, grade levels K-7, in the last 2 months smile emoticon:-) It is a wonderful thing to be surrounded by the exciting energy of youth!

Whale Child

When a big volcano erupts near her village, a young girl is swept out to sea in a canoe. Lost and afraid, she is rescued by Mother Whale, who guides her to the safety of a warm, quiet bay.
